Top 25 Ranking Methodology
A good ranking should show its work. CYBERSIDE.AI evaluates systems as useful products, not merely benchmark-shaped objects floating in a vacuum.
Capability & reliability
Reasoning, accuracy, task quality, robustness, and known limitations.
Real-world usefulness
How well the system performs on practical workflows for real people and teams.
Ecosystem reach
Integrations, platform depth, deployment options, and how well it fits existing workflows.
Ease & value
Setup friction, user experience, pricing, and measurable payoff.
Business fit
Practical usefulness for teams, small businesses, and operational workflows.
Developer / creator fit
How useful the system is for builders, technical users, creators, and workflow power users.
Privacy & security
Controls, transparency, data handling, enterprise readiness, and risk posture.
Innovation
Meaningful new capabilities rather than marketing paint on last year’s spaceship.
News momentum
Recent progress, ecosystem health, and consistency of useful improvements.
Refresh guarantee
The Top 25 publisher writes data/rankings.json once per day using scripts/refresh_ai_rankings.php. The feed declares refresh_interval_hours: 24 and max_stale_hours: 48. If the published ranking becomes older than 48 hours, the Top 25 page shows a freshness alert instead of pretending the data is current.
Recommended cron: run the publisher daily, and optionally run scripts/check_ai_rankings_freshness.php as a health check.
